The funds will be allocated to farming cooperatives, for water management, for reconstruction of schools and police stations, among other projects.

　　The Czech aid group Provincial Reconstruction Team, which has operated in Afghanistan for more than a year, will be in charge of the reconstruction projects.

　　The aid group had completed 14 projects by March, with another 43 projects under way.

　　The aid group also provides jobs to about 1,000 local residents who can earn about four U.S. dollars a day, while more than half people of the country cannot even get one U.S. dollar a day.

　　About 12,000 Afghan children will go to schools built or reconstructed by the Team this year.
