
¡¡¡¡The period of the ¡°The Tenth Five-year Plan¡± was the time when the economic construction of all fields acquired their fastest and finest developments in Dehong Prefecture; in this period, the living standards of all nationalities were raised apparently. In 2005, the value of per capita production of Dehong Prefecture was 5523 Yuan; the wages for the staff at work was 12608 Yuan per capita, among which the wages for staff of the state-owned enterprises was 12830 Yuan per capita, the wages for collective economic units of towns was 8956 Yuan per capita and the wages for other units was 12631 Yuan per capita. According to the sampling survey, the disposable income for the town dwellers in the prefecture was 8395 Yuan per capita and 6541 Yuan for consumption expenditure per capita; as for the consumption structure, the foodstuff payout people paid for per capita was 2426 Yuan and the consumption expenditure for vehicles and communication was 1039 Yuan per capita; the expenses for medical care was 574 Yuan per capita; the payment for education, cultural and recreational expenses was 931 per capita; the food consumption for the inhabitants¡¯ essential living dropped off gradually; whereas, the consumption for training, study and recreation was rising relatively fast; home computers, video cameras, mobile telephones and motorcycles were becoming the consumption focus; automobiles and residential buildings became the new consumption light spots for the town dwellers. By the end of year in 2005, there had been 120.9 color TV sets, 2.4 video cameras, 143 mobile telephones, 89 motorcycles, 3.8 family cars per hundred households; the residential buildings were constructed in the trend of fit designing, complete facilities, spacious and comfort rooms; the usable area of lodging reached 30.2 m2 per capita.
¡¡¡¡The net income for farmers was 1504 Yuan per capita and the farmers¡¯ consumption expenditure was 1385 Yuan per capita; the consumption structure was 720 Yuan for foodstuff payments, 60 Yuan for clothing payments, 51 Yuan for household equipments, 81 Yuan for medical care, 112 Yuan for trafficking and communication payments and 93 Yuan for cultural, educational and recreation payments; there were 61.3 color TV sets, 2 refrigerators, 40.8 large suites of furniture and 30.4 motorcycles per hundred households; the living space was 20.6 m2 per capita.
